Shaping Tomorrow’s Solutions

From R&D to Market-Ready Solutions
At Almatech, innovation drives everything we do. Our R&D activities focus on transforming advanced engineering concepts into robust, market-ready solutions for the space industry.

Our R&D
Innovative Products in Development
BATTERY PACK WITH ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING (AM)
A lightweight, structurally optimized battery enclosure designed for space applications, leveraging advanced 3D printing to enhance performance and integration.
CAMERA STABILIZATION BASED ON COMPLIANT MECHANISMS
A highly reliable, low-mass solution for precise camera stabilization, ensuring vibration-free imaging in demanding space environments.
POINTING MECHANISM
An innovative, compact mechanism enabling accurate payload alignment and pointing for satellites and in-orbit servicing missions.
Integrated Battery Packaging
At Almatech, we are reshaping energy solutions for the next generation of space missions. Our Smart Battery Pack leverages advanced 3D printing technology to integrate electrical connections, heaters, and wiring directly into the battery structure itself.
Camera Stabilization System
Based on a disruptive innovation combining large-angle flexible pivots with integrated limited-angle torque motors, Almatech introduces a high-performance stabilization system designed for demanding applications such as cameras on fast-moving planetary rovers. This breakthrough solution delivers unmatched stability, effective micro-vibration suppression, and predictive feedback control for seamless decoupling. With its simple and robust architecture, it is dust-resistant, compact, and mass-efficient, ensuring reliable, long-lasting performance in harsh environments.
AM Pointing Mechanism Thruster
Almatech’s innovative thrust tilting mechanism combines smart actuation technology with a compliant mechanism structure in a compact, lightweight (30% mass gain compared to market), low-complexity, and cost-effective design. Recent advances in smart actuation technologies—including Electroactive Polymers (EAP) actuators along with additive manufacturing, enable innovative, monolithic gimbaling (+/-15°) solutions tailored for electric thrusters of small satellite missions.
